Our Commitment To Community
Wellesley Theatre Project is the only organization in Wellesley committed to exclusively providing performing arts education and performance opportunities. Following in the footsteps of most fine and performing arts institutions, WTP is devoted to cultivating community education and participation.
In full alignment with our mission, our nonprofit status ensures that income generated goes directly back into the organization, and allows us to give back to our community by providing scholarships to students in need, and tax-exempt donations to supporters. We welcome and value your support through donations, volunteering, and sponsorships.

Wellesley Theatre Project
EMPOWERING YOUTH. CULTIVATING CITIZEN ARTISTS.
Wellesley Theatre Project (WTP) empowers youth with life skills learned through exceptional performing arts education. We challenge them to become citizen artists — to improve the quality of life in their local and global community by emphasizing collaboration and cultural and social understanding.
Who We Are
Wellesley Theatre Project's Cast of Characters is made up of Teaching Artists - theatre professionals and degreed educators; along with experts in theatre operations, design and technical direction.
With decades of experience on stage and behind the scenes, our talented and friendly teachers will provide exceptional instruction, and win over students with their infectious enthusiasm and clear direction.
